Can I practice Bikram Yoga during pregnancy?
Please consult with your doctor before practicing Bikram Yoga during pregnancy and follow their advice. Your health and the health of your baby are of the utmost importance. For a first time pregnancy, it’s best to avoid any new form of exercise.
Some Bikram Teachers and regular students do continue to practice throughout their pregnancy following Rajashree’s Pregnancy Modifications and find it to be beneficial to their own health as well as the health of their baby.
